i put on my adornment
and wear it tall, strong.
for i am the goddess.
a goddess of the light,
a goddess of the night.
in equilibrium, i stand -
balanced and balancing.
for i am the Alpha and the Omega.
That for which i seek, sleeps sweetly within,
waiting to be awaken and recognized
for what it is.
truth, unencumbered.
sister, that for which you seek
is already within.
for you are the supreme.
we stand amidst the earth's currents,
crushed red velvet swimming with the wind,
licking our ankles.
uncoiling in her splendor.
she envelopes us, me, you.
she writhes and rises majestically
in the grace of my back.
taller we stand. who am i?
i know. i am we. you are me.
the divine grace of life peaks within.
bright, blinding, insistent.
her sweet sleep has made her restless.
she whispers in my ear, ready?
