Addictive Sugary Sweets

A poem about sweets

In a world of sugar and delight,

where sweetness sparkles day and night,

a symphony of flavors, a joyful feat,

let me craft a few words for sugary treats.

*

First, there's caramel, smooth and warm,

like sunshine on a chilly morning,

it drizzles on ice cream with such grace,

creating smiles on every face.

*

Next, the candy floss, a cotton cloud,

a sugary dream to make us proud,

pink and blue wisps, a sugary dance,

melting on tongues brings on a trance.

*

Then comes chocolate, rich and bold,

a treasure trove for young and old,

dark or milk, in bars or squares,

each bite tastes of sweet affairs.

*

Marshmallows, fluffy, soft, and light,

they dance on campfires, glowing bright,

a melty hug, a sugary bliss,

in every bite, a sugary kiss.

*

Jelly beans and wine gums, a burst of glee,

in every color, a jubilee.

Taste the rainbow, feel the cheer,

a sugary journey, far and near.

*

Oh, the lollipops, a sugary tower.

A rainbow swirl of sugary power.

They spin and twist, a sugary dance,

enchanting hearts with each sweet chance.

*

Gummy bears, a chewy sensation,

tiny bears of sugary elation.

Orange, green, red, and blue,

a sugary world, just for you.

*

And last, the cakes, a grand finale,

layers of sweetness in a tall rally.

With frosting dreams and icing glaze,

Celebrating life in sugary praise.

*

So let us savor these sugary sweets,

a symphony of tastes, a world complete.

In this saccharine paradise, we roam,

indulging in sugary pleasures, our hearts at home.
