Across the Sea!
The view of the Mountains from my balcony over in North Vancouver, taunting me for never being able to go climb to the top of one and just be one with the creator of it all!
Across the Sea!
I stare from my window
Straight across the Sea,
To the Beautiful
North Van Mountains,
Staring back at me!
They taunt me with their labour
They taunt me with their love
They taunt me with their permanence,
For the time in which they've already stood!
And the time ahead for them to continue,
Still yet to be!
I travelled over by Sea bus,
Trying to conquer this thing
My love for B.C. Mountains,
Larger than life...
I rode a bus up that mountain side
to East 23rd,
FINALLY!
Hoping the work it leads me to
Will give me,
A New Opportunity
of an Enriched View
From their side of things.
Looking back out
Across the Sea,
To that other half
Of this city!
I wonder now
Can I see my tiny balcony apt
Looking back at me?
As I share in a moment
Where I'm now settled in
As part of the setting
Of that,
Majestic North Vancouver
View
That I stare at with envy,
in awe and love
For trying to figure out
How I can conquer
What it is they mean to me,
When I am looking back
Out at them,
Standing on my tiny balcony apt
From Across The Sea?
I wonder now...
Can I see my tiny balcony apt
Looking back at me?
