Across The Savanna

The spirit of African wilderness

Across the savanna, where the wild winds roam,

Underneath the African sky's vast dome,

Footprints in the dust, a timeless trail,

Echoes of ancient tales, whispered and frail.

Giraffes stretch high, in a ballet of grace,

Their silhouette against the sun's embrace,

Zebras in stripes, a monochrome parade,

Hooves drumming softly, as they cascade.

Lions prowl with eyes of amber fire,

Their golden coats, a regal attire,

Silent hunters in the twilight's gleam,

Dreams of conquest in each silent scheme.

Across the savanna, the rivers flow,

Lifeblood of the land, where creatures go,

Elephants march with solemn might,

Trunks raised high, in the fading light.

Birds paint the sky with feathers bright,

A symphony of colors taking flight,

The sun dips low, a burning crown,

Casting shadows upon the ground.

Across the savanna, a world alive,

Where nature's heartbeat will survive,

In every breath of wind that sighs,

In every gaze beneath the boundless skies.

For here, where earth and heaven meet,

A tapestry of wonder, pure and sweet,

Across the savanna, the story's told,

Of life's mysteries, ageless and bold.
