Helplessness, oh how it hurts,

when you are questioning your worth.

Night and day, the feeling grips me.

What would it be like to be free?

Loneliness is there as well,

As the tears, they swell.

I ache and seek some light.

But it binds me up so tight, there is no fight.

Is there no way out of this cave?

Where was the girl who was so brave?

Darkness that carries so much weight,

I can not let this be my fate.
