Abyss

And they all said he was a good man

By Cyndi FreemanPublished 5 years ago 1 min read
the beginnings

Delving into the beginnings, into the core.

Will you follow me into this abyss?

This act to entrap you as before.

Underneath, burning with desire.

Will you like to stay, is this bliss?

This feeling, so alluring, there you retire.

Pounding hearts, moist reflections-alive.

Will you so easily be led?

Into the core, deeper you dive.

Sliding, slipping nothing more said.

Will you always on this be fed?

Alive you feel, yet your heart is dead.

Forever in this ecstasy-not real.

Will you no longer, be you?

Grabbing all you can, you steal.

Dressed in your black garb, this is your end.

Will you always forever undo?

The procession moves forward, many hearts to rend.

And they all said, “he was a good man.”
