Abundance

in the past I always thought of abundance as an influx of money

can you say ego? Money is everything, but money isn't everything

life has so much to offer, life in itself is a form of abundance

appreciating all the needs that have been met,

when there's homeless mothers and hungry children across the world and no one cares,

programming my mind to feel gratitude in all things,

thanking God everyday that I am able to see another day,

cause the system will hold you hostage, unable to see another way,

abundant being I am, cause I'm self reliant and motivated to make my dreams come true,

I won't let a person, place, or thing confine me to my desires,

challenging single Mothers to think beyond the illusions of society,

believe you can be more abundant than they claim you can be.

That you can own a home, get a degree, and other dreams that won't keep you small.
