Absurdity Reigns
Tales of Folly and Foolishness from Verona and Beyond

In fair Verona, absurdity lies,
Where lovers feud and nobody dies.
The Montagues and Capulets fight,
All for their family's ancient right.
Yet, the cause of their strife remains unwise.
Oh, how strange and silly it appears,
To trade love for blood and bitter tears.
A pox upon their warring ways,
Their violence lasts for countless days.
When will they see the error of their fears?
But Verona's not the only place,
Where folly reigns with a foolish pace.
Men wear their hats askew and crooked,
And women dress in garb so wicked.
Such absurdity, my heart does race!
From east to west and north to south,
The world is filled with foolish mouths.
They speak with tongues so sharp and quick,
But sense and logic they often flick.
Absurdity reigns, without a doubt.
Oh, how I long for sanity,
To cast away this mad frivolity.
Let us embrace reason and sense,
And banish folly, without pretense.
Absurdity, thy time is up, so flee!
