A poem challenge.

Once in a blue moon, see what I did there, I find myself making life harder. Ok, maybe a little more regular than that. Apparently, I can't just write a poem, a normal poem, rhyming or not without causing extra effort and undue stress on myself. Am I a glutton for punishment? Probably.

This time I thought to myself after waking up post fanatical dream of gallant knights and hideous monsters, let's make a poem using the alphabet, each word using a different letter in sequence, and see how it goes. This is how it went.

Thank you for reading. Enjoy.

-----------------------------------------------

A brittle calm,

Devours earthly frights,

Golden hours implore,

Jesting knights.

Lasting moments,

Nestled over peace,

Quietly retaining,

Sundry techniques.

Underworld violence,

Welcome xanthic years,

Zealous ambitions,

Beget cavaliers.

Demons engage faces,

Grizzly harrow,

Initiate jokers,

Knives loose marrow.

Nightingale or promise,

Quips radiant Scion,

To usher valiant warriors,

Xyresic young Zion.
