A Wounded Plea.
To Err Is Divine.

Heavenly Father
Do You see my heart?
Do You feel how it beats for You?
No matter who You lead me to bind it to
Only You knows the part of it that is in You...
It is there we meet and speak these things;
Forgive me for the moments I let fear
Seek for comfort that is near
But allow me lean into Your reward
For the Grace Your prophets hoard...
And when comes time to judge
Between Your children
Don’t spare the rod
But pull us back into Your bosom
And spare Your sword
The one You let us wield
When our guards are down.
So here it is
This part of my heart connected to Yours
That no force can intercept
Where we speak these things
Is where I repent now
For anger, pride and careless words...
Please meet me here
And make me new again.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
"If your brother or sister sins, go and point out their fault, just between the two of you. If they listen to you, you have won them over. But if they will not listen, take one or two others along, so that 'every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.' If they still refuse to listen, tell it to the church; and if they refuse to listen even to the church, treat them as you would a pagan or a tax collector."
-Matthew 18:15-17, NIV
