From deep primeval winter,
roused from a stubborn sorcery of stone
and this cemetery of long-foresaken clay, --
the thawing rain, which blesseth the barren
Earth, awakens the innocent blossom,
to spring up all anew and, draped in regal raiment,
Rejoice.
About the Creator
Sean Byers
Literary hobbyist who, in an act of sophomoric hubris, once dreamed of writing the great American novel. In the meantime, I am content to write for the pleasure of the craft and whoever finds my work of any interest.
