A Vision Veiled in Night

♬☆

By Karan w. Published 8 months ago 1 min read

Soon it will be night
Tomorrow will be bright
In the vast sky, I saw a wonderful sight
A flock of birds flies home in graceful flight
Their wings sang, a moment of soft delight

The moonlight spread like a gentle waterfall
The night began with an ethereal and veiled by a great pall
Everything is wrapped in silence, like a velvet sprawl
Sleep arrived after lovely memories sweet hushed call
The sweet dream is ruined by a haunting drawl

The darkness I see in the world sleeps within me
At the heart of golden dreams, it's him I always see
Only one real face in the mirror, destined never to be free
It's breath is cold regret, My soul didn't agree
The ghost is inside me, not on the banyan tree
