Mr. Bird is a happy morning fellow Gaily hopping here and hopping there Singing happy high pitched songs with playful glee Joining his friends, family and neighbours As they render a chirpy morning medley
Missy Yellow Feathers takes the tenor Madame Red Breast has the treble Mr. Brown Beak goes to alto Mr. Blackbird strums the bass
Off they go dancing around the powerlines Over and under; over and under Hopping and two-stepping and singing along Singing and flying — My, What multitasking!
I do envy Mr. Bird and his happy morning attitude Making sure to sing a tune every waking day A little lesson from a little birdy Start your day with joy and a little singing
