A Val in Time

Aura of Valentine

By Harydo NeonPublished 8 years ago 1 min read

Time, a matter we have no control over

Time to live, time to love, time to start over

Like a cycle, or a tape played on repeat

A circle, recycle, wool on a spin

And here you were, watching and glancing

It is Cupid’s birthday and everyone is celebrating

Kisses and hugs, thousands of espressos bought

And here you were, wondering when will your share come

Valentine has never meant anything to you

Apart from the general love of family and friends

Like any other day, sitting with nothing to do

Till Cupid says it is time to make knots, out of thread

Pause, you are led without an arm of conscience

To load down this creation of science

Apping the tinderness of poetic exhibition

Right, right, right, oh, definitely a left

Right, right, right, no one in your area left

Distance without walking improved

1 in 10 became 2, more candidates, more to choose

Tooth for Tatt, all just left, pickness

Trying something new, ignoring the tatt and conditions

In the other means, my right clicked, matches and flame

Oh my damn, lame

And so it begins, gentleman and lady

Starting up to converse,

Number and Insta, a gram of communication

And so you were, without any hope of what could happen

No high hopes then, like let the worst flatten

What can you say? Cupid outdid himself this time

A Val in time, did really save thine.
