a transcendent inquiry
asking the right questions right; a poem

How is it like?
How is it like watching the twilight of an age, the war of a life already waged?
How is it like falling like a star, pains of a past gone together with its scar?
How is it like finding an era spent, regretting not expressing what is truly meant?
How is it like discovering one's own apocalypse, with it, bridges where unseen faith leaps?
How is it like embracing the inevitable, containing the flame of a restless soul
How is it like looking at life fade, where fate requires farewells bade?
Feast, one may. Mourn, perhaps.
Have a fair share, life warrants, then at the edge, reminiscently ask.
How is it like? How is it like living life unmasked?
