A Taste Of Sweet Southern Heaven

For: My Love

By Jessica TaylorPublished 5 years ago Updated 4 years ago 1 min read

Each morning, when I wake;

I turn to see his face;

Sometimes he is asleep;

Sometimes his love awakens me.

His touch, a fire in my soul;

His kiss, a longing I've never felt before;

His strength reaps excitement mixed with anxious need;

The look in his eyes seems a desire to feed.

Most days, my brain has too many tabs open there

And thoughts flood not just to paper, but everywhere;

One kiss from his tender lips sends all thoughts reeling

My brain shuts off; I become at ease and allow the feeling.

He sends shivers of ecstasy up and down my spine

I loose all track of space and time;

Each movement with desire at its peak;

I am without thought and unable to speak.

Feeling myself begging for more

I call his name and he answers to my core

Wave after wave my need floods in;

Wave after wave I forget my every sin.

When all is at rest and is calm;

I fall into slumber within the depths of his arms;

I drift into the world of dreams come true;

For my soul has finally found you.

With each moment of every day

A new surprise lays in wait;

Whether with a morning kiss and cup of coffee

Or flowers from him to only me.

I am intrigued, I am in awe, I am in loves deep plight;

I am entangled in his web both day and night;

His love for me seems his only weapon

Leaving me with this sweet taste of sweet Southern Heaven.

About the Creator

Jessica Taylor

My deepest desire is to be able to help people; since I am too shy to be a professional speaker I decided that writing is my next best option. However, I do love the feel of the pen upon the page and the clicking of my keys on my keyboard.
