A Summer to Remember

Summer Fun

By John M Edwards JrPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

I awaken to observe the tadpoles as they swim taking my imagination to tomorrows whim

On a shore I will be skipping over jelly fish on a sun bleach beach to the smell of abalone roasting in the heat

I reach my short arms to the much needed omega before we takeoff in the Vega.

Off we go to meet friends in their Hummer before we roar off in the night of Summer

Today has been fun because yesterday was a bummer . I'll never forget the fun had in a Hummer.

Watch out. There's another runner having fun thinking about yesterday's summer.

That was fun but those days are done , but what about the upcoming days in the sun?

Haven't you heard? It's gonna be a hot girl summer , and that won't be a bummer.
