A Stream of Subconscious Thoughts

***

By Michael CronePublished 3 years ago 1 min read

Dear Reader,

I wanted to write this to you as a reminder. A reminder to always check where you've been and to never lose sight of where you're going.

Where have you been?

To places dark and deep where light doesn't penetrate; to mountains so high the light seemed as if it would never leave. To emotions so deep, the sense of drowning was ever so vast. To places so here and now, I can't even remember them as memories.

Where are you going?

To places filled with love and laughter. To places where dreams are a reality and life is abundance. To future challenges and waves of change; to the constant never-ending rollercoaster that is this beautiful life.

We must do the work to make the change.

Without facing our fears and going within, we will never be free. Our minds may find peace from time to time but without true change, the cycle will remain the same. It is time to face the truth and it is time to do the work.

No matter how hard or scary it may seem.

At the end of the conflict, when the battle is won, the sun will rise on a new day. It will signal your change and transformation are complete and you will leave behind the armor of pain you have known for so long.

Continue on, my friends.

The truth of it is, it truly is darkest before the light. So when times seem their toughest, remember that sometimes the only way out is through. The path ahead can only be traveled by you.

-Sincerely: Someone just like you-
