A Stick of Blackpool Rock
Yum yum yum so sweet but too much sugar

A Stick of Blackpool Rock
Sealed in sugar, bold and bright,
A seaside treat in pink and white.
A stripe of black, a taste so sweet,
A memory wrapped in paper so sweet.
It starts off firm, a brittle bite,
Then melts away in pure delight.
Letters run from end to end,
A candy message, like a friend.
The salty air, the cries of gulls,
The crashing sea, the pier’s old halls
All live within this sugared core,
A piece of Blackpool evermore.

This is a fun read. Is this a UK candy or is it only for the birds. Seemed tasty in a way. Good job.
Sugary sweet!
Fun to read!
