A Sprinkling Of Grace
Amidst the Flames

John 1:15–18 NIV
(John testified concerning him. He cried out, saying, “This is the one I spoke about when I said, ‘He who comes after me has surpassed me because he was before me.’ ”) [16] Out of his fullness we have all received grace in place of grace already given. [17] For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. [18] No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known.
I have
Friends
Who have
Walked through
The fire
Scarred
But strong
Like a mighty
Oak amidst the
Storm,
They know
Their protection
Seek The
Calm in The
Storm
Eyes filled
With tears
There’s strength
There.
~~~~~~
I have friends
Who have walked
Through the fire
Scorching hot
Yet they aren’t
Burned as
They are
Sprinkled
In his grace.
~~~~~~
I have friends
Who have walked
Through the fire
Scorching hot
Yet they aren’t
Burned as
They are
Sprinkled
In his grace.
~~~~~~
I have friends
Who have walked
Through the fire
As life tried to
Crush them
Those who
Have lost children
Lost parents
Felt that pain or
Sting
And those who
Against all
Odds
Walk with us today.
~~~~~~
I have friends
Who have walked
Through the fire
Leaping over The
Flames,
But when those
Flames started
Leaping
On to others
They stopped
To pray
Sharing
That sprinkling Of
Grace!
