A Special Christmas Guest
Seasonal stress
Ah...That time of year is finally here
Stockings, gifts, and plenty of cheer
But along with allthat
Better bring some beer
Sweating profusely, what could it be?
Please welcome my guest,
Christmas anxiety.
He came right on time
Not a moment too soon
To spend the season with me
He may not leave until June
He visits me often
Sometimes for a while
But something about the holidays
Always makes him smile
He loves the lights, the nerves
And the stress
But his favorite thing
Is making me a mess.
But I have news for him
This year he'll be here less
Because he can try all he wants
But I'll be drunk for Christmas.
