A Soul Bargaining with Fate.

…….

By Marvelous MichaelPublished 11 months ago 1 min read

Beneath the silver moon, I knelt,

a whisper on my lips, an offering in my hands.

The gods did not speak, nor did they turn away—

they only watched, unmoved, indifferent.

“I have come to bargain,” I said.

But the stars did not waver.

I placed my heart upon the altar,

but they only laughed.

Fate is not bought with mortal hands,

nor bent by desperate prayers.

Some roads must be walked in silence,

some debts must be paid in blood.
