Lives are being taken
Families being torn apart
Over power
Over money
Over hate
Over vengeance
Here in a place that was once a democracy
Today there are assassins
Not a place to call home
Or one to be proud of
But a place of sorrow
Take veil over your eyes off
And see reality
Don’t fall into the trap of their lies
Voices are being silenced
This is not a political fight
Not even a fight for human rights
But to protect and value human life
No longer seem as humans with feelings
They don't care about our cries
What will be the solution now
Since we didn't heed the prevention he has the crown
