Are we separate, seeking dominance

or connected, joined one to the other?

Can the oppressor / oppressed circumstance

have masters treat their slaves as a lover?

++

Within undefined shadows a brief spark

can illuminate enlightened visions.

In a universe, with less light than dark,

coincidences provide provisions.

++

Synchronicity is an ancient rite,

accessed by those few who have not forgot,

that shades existing between dark and light

let chance encounters follow fleeting thought.

++

Connections create, with agility,

the improbable possibility.

    Your weaving of cosmic imagery with human struggles is striking. It makes me think of how the universe itself mirrors the conflicts and connections within us.

    These are some deep questions you started your sonnet with. I really love the line "shades existing between dark and light", it reminds me how complicated and complex things can be.
