A Sleep Walking World

By Anthony Anthem

It's just another day of being misunderstood

You can blame the melanin or just the way I that look

I could wear a business suit and be considered just a crook

I was born a king but you see a pawn or rook

Ive Been wide awake

Daily punches to the face

Hate has a bloody taste

Like it's rare on a steak

No mistakes

On the plate

On the dishes served cold

You can say the orders wrong and they'll pretend they didn't know

They wonder why I am agro

Why negros want to be assholes

We give em doses of truth they won't

swallow the capsules

The same war in repeat ancestors died with shrapnel's

It's light brought on the shadows

Descendants still in a battle

All this energy usage

And still not at conclusion

I'm doubting a resolution

For many live in delusion

Ignorance or just stupid

Its sleepwalking confusion

Their not the ones thats losing

So F it keep it moving.
