A slave to heart break

You control me to my end

A slave to heart break

A slave to your voice,

Fetch me, carry me.

I am frightened of you,

With no choice.

Chains unseen,

Yet bound so tight,

I move, I bend,

I fade from sight.

Your whisper calls,

I must obey.

No will, no path,

No words to say.

Shadows stretch,

They pull, they creep,

A restless hush,

A vow to keep.

I reach, I run,

But feet won’t land,

Trapped beneath

Your silent hand.

A hollow breath,

A closing door,

You leave—yet still,

I am no more. I am Gone!

This is one way to free oneself from feeling sorry for themselves and moving on to better things and people. Good job.
