I shall say nothing

Though there be a lot to say

Keep peace by silence

This haiku is for those who are screaming, ranting, and raving… internally … while trying to maintain silence to avoid pain, reprisal, abuse. The lover hiding the bruises. The employee paid too little and working too hard for too little appreciation. The child accused of a misdeed he didn’t perpetuate, knowing to say anything will bring only more retribution. The innnocent protecting the beloved guilty with stoicism. You all know what I mean.
