A Season for Forgotten Dreams

With each step forward, the past is redeemed.

By Raymond BentumPublished about a year ago 1 min read

Beneath the amber glow of autumn's fire,

Lie dreams abandoned, cloaked in time's attire.

Whispers of youth, bold and unafraid,

Now shadows in the corners, quietly laid.

Once fierce ambitions, like spring's first bloom,

Danced with the sun, defying the gloom.

But seasons shift, and winds reshape,

Dreams fell silent, seeking escape.

Yet as the leaves fall, a symphony stirs,

A call to the heart, where memory blurs.

Faint melodies rise, like echoes of spring,

Awakening hope on a gentle wing.

The frost of neglect begins to thaw,

Revealing dreams with a quiet awe.

Not lost, but waiting in the folds of time,

Their song, though distant, remains sublime.

Now is the season for dreams to unfold,

To mend what was broken, to seek the untold.

With each step forward, the past is redeemed,

In this season reborn, for forgotten dreams.
