Cooking up a love that’s true. Here is my recipe for you.
A Recipe for Love
Start with a heart, tender and true,
Add trust, the base, to see it through.
A pinch of laughter, light as air,
Stir in kindness, always there.
Sprinkle in patience, one small grain,
A dash of joy to ease the strain.
A handful of dreams, gently fold,
With passion’s warmth, tender and bold.
Mix it well, and let it rise,
With open hearts and open eyes.
Let it settle, firm and bright,
A love that grows by day and night.
With steady hands and an open heart,
Watch it blossom, never to part.
Eat it warm, or eat it cold.
Soon you’ll feel true love take hold.
