A Unicorn in need

Once in a blue moon, with a rarest of views,

I spotted a creature, as magical as it was hued,

With a horn on its head, and a mane that shone,

It was a sight to behold, a unicorn.

*

I rubbed my eyes, pinched my cheek,

Was I dreaming? Was I asleep?

Nope, it was real, as real as can be,

A unicorn, galloping freely.

*

It pranced and danced, with a twirl of its tail,

As it trotted along, it made an enchanting trail,

Its coat was as white, as the freshly fallen snow,

And its eyes sparkled, with a mysterious glow.

*

I was in awe, at this rare and mystical sight,

I'd only heard of it, in tales of the night,

But there it was, in flesh and in blood,

A creature so rare, that it couldn't be misunderstood.

*

So if you ever come across, a unicorn in your way,

Just remember, this sight, is a sight to stay,

And cherish the moment, and make it a memory,

For you may never, see a unicorn again, in eternity!
