a rainbow of bliss

"sunshht" jason alan

i never knew

that half-full, rose-colored glasses could

make me feel so blue,

so green

with envy at the grass

and the red brick unbroken home,

just on the other side of that

divided, picketed fence.

i wanted oranges,

but my garden only grows

lemon trees;

packing power in the sour.

so pucker up my sweetest

dreams,

and this is it.

the full flavor experience:

a rainbow of bliss,

unicorns,

and yellow rays of sunshht...

how many colors

can you see

with monochrome vision?

narrowed scopes,

neural networks with synapses

ignorant

of the power

of color and creation.

fated

to fall victim

to it's fickle balance;

variations,

nat se block ond whati. (pronounced: "not so black and white.")

you need silver

outlines to get on this

ride.
