Her intriguing perfume mixes with the lake breeze.
She runs a hand through my hair as the September air threatens to penetrate my layers with coldness.
An innocent, platonic peck erases any other test associated with an early Autumn.
"We will be alright; right where we are meant to be." her whispered promise echoes on the cascading lake breeze as she pulls her lips apart from mine...
