I wrote

Sailing our fantasy boat

Counting on the popular vote

Win the game

Earn the fame

Marketing my name

This champion song is mine

Never will I ever decline

About the time we spent

Romancing underneath the wildlife tent

Dreaming to the moon

Singing my original tune

Now here we are

I sit at the crowded bar

Watching you, the star

And wishing the best

Performing the entertainment test

Using the rhythmic note

I wrote

While you float

On cloud nine

Spending my creative dime

As the spotlight gives you the shine

Tomorrow

Without any sorrow

I will still be here

Sipping a sudsy beer

Reading my tatoo

Sweet loving and true

Dedicated to you

Proclaiming what everyone wants to know
