A POEM FOR THE CAREGIVERS
don't give up on coffee
Sometimes, all you need in the morning is a cup of hot, steaming coffee.
When sleep fails and caffine just won't do.
Just one cup, or two or as many as you need to feel gooooood, will do.
For me, I'll take the pot.
Use not the coffee to wake up.
I'm sure you don't need that help.
Use it to cultivate "ME time" or even "THEE time".
A time to unwind and reflect ---
A time to give thanks and forget
The bad things that happened yesterday
or the beautiful wrong that can happen today.
Let peace be your portion as you continue to serve those you love.
May you find grace, in your coffee cup.
May you find sweet solace, in your coffee cup.
May you discover just what you need and nothing more
or less
In your coffee cup.
Give thanks.
Give thanks.
Give thanks.
May love be with you.
