Sometimes when I notice you

I remember how close we are

forgotten cities in-between us

keeping our loving families apart

When your glow

lights up the sky

broken families

watch you from afar

in that moment

we’re all back together

hearts connected through you

and the stars

when I’m lost

surrounded by darkness

I close my eyes to feel your light

knowing I’ll never feel alone again

as were all watching you

just at different times
