A Poem About A Couple That Have Motorcycles In Common And What That Means

Smiles on your face, with the sun shining down on you and him, with motorcycles in the parking lot!

John and I rode our motorcycles to a recovery event. The Authors Photo

We had to leave our bikes sitting with hundreds of other motorcycles

as we went into a convention center with thousands of participants.

I haven't felt this good since I rode my first couple bicycles.

It was nice to rest the bikes as our ride was no stops and no incidents

We rode a couple hundred miles which is no short ride.

What a beautiful day to ride and to spend outside.

Our bikes, the blue hulk, and little red riding hood. Authors photo.

Poetry contest ends here today

Get your best poem in on this day

noon was just minutes away

to have it in on time to win

We can't wait to take a spin

on our motorcycles this year

John is almost dropping a tear

Presents for the best three

mine doesn't count, oh me

It is not the best anyway

I wouldn't want to not make the top three I say!

and it is my contest, so I will make the rules

and it is not yet April fools

so I said, get out your writing tools

and write me a poem about the two in the picture above

now that is what real love

looks like~ and I made this discovery

motorcycles, smiling faces and recovery!!

Son Pat on the honda, me and John on Harley's. Probably won't happen again!! Authors Photo.

John said about my Harley fund jar, "If you are going to buy a Harley, you aren't going to ride with me, as I like to ride, not fix!" I used to think he is from the sticks!

He will admit now that Harley are doing better. However, he still mentions the Harley's that need a new transmission and engines and how some have to deal with the debt collector.

When we went to New Orleans with son Pat, we rented Harleys to ride. Pat rented a Honda Goldwing, nice glide. I swore my bike was falling apart as it was so loud and I heard what sounded like a bolt falling off as I rattled down the road on that ride. The most uncomfortable seat, I had ever been on too. Okay, do not condemn me for my experience. I guess Honda, Suzuki and Yamaha, have me sold!
