The joy of common fellowship, the ignorance of blinded bliss,

The subtlety and discretion, the pact made by oath and kiss,

The shattering through betrayal, the trust soon misplaced,

The thief in the night that destroyed, the shame, surely disgraced,

The times abandoned in isolation, the desire to sooner avenge,

The calculation and precision, the fires of revenge,

The recognition of past mistakes, the recovering from the aftermath,

The training and the discipline, the foundations to satisfy, wrath,

The hatred of cordial displeasure, the stain, and tainted spot,

The mustering of resources for battle, the strategy, the end game plot,

The deception and the reuniting, the feelings that would reignite,

The inspiration towards a new journey, the new reason to then fight,

The peak moment of satisfaction, the fates would tell of what’s in store,

The thrust, the slash, the battle, the ending of the feud,

The final act of the tale… Of war…
