She feared the day she’d be replaced,

Clung to love, her heart misplaced.

Built a home in borrowed space,

Never knowing it lacked a place.

She traced the echoes of his touch,

Believing she had meant so much.

But love that’s real won’t make you fight,

To prove your worth or hold on tight.

And so she learned, though late, yet true,

A love that’s hers won’t make her blue.

For those who see her as a choice,

Were never meant to hear her voice.
