I say, “Can you see?”

The dawn’s early light fades with a wave,

Waning in wanton abandon, wanting the waft of the weary wayfarer.

The hint of listless liberty, light on the tongue,

A swallow swoops, swallows secrets soft on her beak, a pique of liberty.

Oooh, I love this one. The sensations roll. I love the call back to the national anthem. And the symbolism is fantastic; that swallow, that whole last line... beautiful work. I'd love to see this one place.
