A Peace to Remember

Homecoming (after the vacation)

By Krissy FowlerPublished 4 years ago 1 min read
peace within home

Clear skies, open waters, palm trees

Beaches, sand in my toes

High winds blowing through my hair

Margaritas through the night

Dancing with the bright stars

Waking up to a pool

And a heated jacuzzi to soak the night away

Yet as simple as it sounds

To hear the key opening the door

But not just any door

A door to an oasis

A place where I can always be me

A place where she’s awaiting me, so fluffy and sweet

A place where not only where I lay my head

I have created not only a beautiful house

I have created a home

My peace

A Peace to Remember
