Searching for a soul who sees the colors within my dreams.
Let the wall of clouds shatter,
And a splash of rain begin to fall.
Let someone love me today,
Seeing the rainbow’s colors in it all.
Dreams do come, time and again,
But I wish for a hand to hold.
Someone to walk beside me,
Through stories yet untold.
When the rain ends and the sun shines bright,
Be my partner in that golden light.
A face I can gaze upon forever,
To soothe my eyes and leave me never.
