A Mother Owls Love
In the snow so crisp and white,
Sat an owl, bathed in light.
Feathers fluffed and eyes so wide,
With tiny heads tucked inside.
Little faces, one by one,
Peeking out to see the sun.
Golden eyes that gleam and glow,
Safe beneath the falling snow.
Tucked away, so warm, so tight,
A feathery hug feels just right.
Mother’s wings, a perfect nest,
Holding close what she loves best.
Winter winds may howl and bite,
But here inside, the world is right.
No need to fly, no need to roam,
A mother’s love is always home.
