As I looked at this Nightcafe image I created, the "Out of Africa" movie theme song came to mind, and from there, my story unfolded.
************************************
Once upon a time, there was a calm place
A Mother Lion soothed her cub to sleep
Creating such a warm and peaceful space
She sang a lullaby of counting sheep.
Mother's amber eyes took a quick seep,
No stalking hunters shadowed the night
No grating jeep disturbed their tranquil keep
She protected her cub with arms so tight.
Thank you for reading.

How serene and beautiful!
That is a lovely poem Daphne!✨ My favourite lines were: "Mother's amber eyes took a quick seep," Love the description of the lion's eyes; and "She protected her cub with arms so tight"🥹 That's true, lions are very loving and compassionate to their children😊 Thanks for sharing this heartwarming tale with us💗
