A Mother Broken, a Friend Fragile 🕊️🕊️🕊️

Fighting to put the pieces back together again. Mike's Sad Poem challenge

You found yourself broken...falling

FALLING...

I found you in pieces...fallen

SHATTERED...

I stooped to pick you up...for

Like Humpty Dumpty you were in pieces

On the floor of your dying heart

We took you to the healing land of broken things

Where the Wizard agreed to mend you

Glue you back together again

He broke your chest into two bloody pieces

Stopped your heart, while an inanimate machine

Became your essence to echo the beat of life's rhythm...

Your heartbeat...

The kind Magician used his chants and potions

To put a Novel soul back together again

So now I must ask you...Dear One

Did you for a few moments die, your heart stilled

So the Wizard could resurrect you to your unbroken you

I distinctly heard him whisper a little spell for putting a broken bird back together again

A tender touch of magic for our shattered friend. A gentle incantation to mend a broken wing.

"Wings of sky, light as feather, Rejoin now and soar together. With healing warmth and stardust bright, Mend and restore her to flight tonight. In kindness, bound by nature's thread, From head to toe, be whole instead".

Remember to be gentle and show love and care as you recite this healing spell. 🕊️

I hope this brings comfort to the little broken bird.

Who needs time to find her strength

To fly again, soaring high into the sky

While angels sound the trumpet

That all is well again! 🕊️

The Challenge (Thanks Mike, I found this on the very last day. But it could not have been more timely for my state of mind). I found it by reading Sid's lovely sad poem. You are blessed.

"Who needs time to find her strength"—I love that. Sometimes, healing isn’t instant, but when it comes, it’s powerful. Beautiful piece!

This is breathtaking—like a whispered prayer wrapped in poetry. It carries the weight of pain but also the lightness of renewal. That closing line? Pure magic. Soaring high again, while angels sound the trumpet—what a triumphant return to life and love. ✨

Great Poem - But you know what this inspires in me don't you. - A smile article!! Too many dark times in life, and when I read too many of these, it triggers a smile article. Well Done - But Incredibly sad. Smile article coming up.

Well-wrought! Especially your healing spell itself! As well-versed as anything we might read in classic lit!
