and hope is seen as a star
upon which travelers can steer.
As they drive upon an open road
with nothing to see for miles,
except shadows cast by headlights
upon a land devoid of smiles.

So long as hope continues to exist
in the realm of possibilities,
there will be a chance for success
depending on life's necessities.

and is equal to the greater good,

where purpose might be understood.

Brought about by a burning desire
between two people who believe,
in something greater than themselves
that together they might achieve.
A discovery of marvelous beauty
which outshines the brightest star,
in darkest night when sunlight sleeps
