A Melody of Tears: A Song for a Lost Friend

In a Symphony of Sorrow that echoes through the lonely halls of my heart, where each note is a tear and every movement a memory, this lament

In the hush of night, where shadows lie,

A melody of tears escapes a cry.

A symphony of sorrow fills the air,

A broken heart's lament, a whispered prayer.

Your absence hangs, a weight upon my soul,

A gaping hole where laughter used to roll.

Memories dance, like phantoms in the gloom,

Of secrets shared, within a vibrant room.

Your voice, a whisper, lost upon the breeze,

Your touch, a phantom, that no longer sees.

I search for solace, in the starlit sky,

But only find reflections of your goodbye.

The world spins on, a blur I cannot chase,

Lost in the depths, of this empty space.

The laughter's echo, mocks my lonely plight,

A constant reminder, of your radiant light.

Each tick of the clock, a hammer's steady blow,

Each passing breath, a sea of endless woe.

I clutch the dreams, we painted in the sun,

But shattered fragments, leave me numb.

My pen bleeds ink, a crimson stain of pain,

In hopes this poem, will soothe the pouring rain.

A desperate plea, upon the wind it flies,

To reach your heart, beyond the tear-filled skies.

If love's pure essence, could bridge the space between,

This song would carry you, my shattered, sweetest dream.

But if forever, truly claims your soul,

Then know, my friend, this love will make me whole.

For in the tapestry of time, our threads entwined,

A friendship's echo, forever you'll find.

And though the path ahead, may seem so vast,

Your memory's embrace, will forever last.
