A man and his cat

The house is happy

By nadviisePublished 3 years ago 1 min read

A man who smells of apples lives in a house.

The house is small and quiet and the man is happy.

He likes to go outside and sit under trees. He likes to see the sun shine through their leaves. He feels something soft against his leg one day and finds a cat who smells of caramel.

He asks the cat their name, to which there is no response, and then asks if they would like to join him.

The cat sits by his leg until it’s time to go inside. The man invites them in and the cat follows.

The man doesn’t know what the cat likes to eat. He asks the cat for its preference, to which there is no response, and just settles for milk.

The cat seems to appreciate it.

The man tells the cat that its allowed to stay if they so please.

The cat doesn’t leave.

The cat doesn’t fully understand the man, but it likes the man. The cat is happy.

The man doesn’t fully understand the cat, but he likes the cat. The man is happy.

The house is small and quiet and smells of apples and caramel.
