A Love That Knows No Seasons II

A Journey of Heartfelt Yearning

By Abdullah KhanPublished about a year ago 1 min read

Just a glimpse of you, and the world feels bright,

It’s like we’re starting Eid preparations tonight.

I’m happy to be grounded here, yet free,

You’ve made friends with clouds, dancing with glee.

Your things fill my space, your touch is near,

No need for more kindness; you’ve made it clear.

I was just about to share my heart’s plea,

But someone woke me from dreams I didn’t foresee.

Now I’ve mastered the ache of longing for you,

Why fear holding close what feels so true?

You've changed somehow, or maybe it’s me,

You weren't quite like this in my dreams, honestly.
