A Love That Ended Too Soon

The memories still linger, like the scent of a rose, But the pain cuts deeper, with each passing day it grows.

We met in the springtime, when flowers bloomed and skies were blue,

With laughter and smiles, our love grew fast, so true.

But like a summer storm, it all came crashing down,

And before we knew it, our love was no more to be found.

The memories still linger, like the scent of a rose,

But the pain cuts deeper, with each passing day it grows.

I thought our love was forever, but it ended all too soon,

Leaving me alone, with a heart that aches and a tune.

I still see your smile, in every sunset I watch,

And I feel your touch, in every gentle breeze that comes and goes.

But now I must face the truth, that our love was just a dream,

A love that ended too soon, and will never again be seen.
