To witness you,
making peace with the war that you are
surrendering to a God you can not see
reminding yourself that you don't always have
to be good, to be loved

battling the questions of your own mind
loving those who were learning to love
loving those who didn't love you
loving those who love you
To witness you,
is a testament of a God
that loves you, even while you learn to love yourself
a testament of a heart
